Clutch

Maryland rockers Clutch saved their eponymous titling for their second album. Clutch is their best selling album to date and was originally released in 1995. Their sound could be described as  a stoner version of Black Sabbath meets Faith No More. Contains their classic song ‘Spacegrass’. Silver coloured vinyl reissue LP, limited to 2000 copies on Music On Vinyl.

Clutch
Impetus

Earache reissue this before-they-were-famous record from Clutch. Despite achieving commercial success in the 2000s, the heavy Maryland group had already been plugging away for most of the preceding decade. 1997’s Impetus EP combined the three tracks of their 1992 release Passive Restraints, a 1991 rarity and a demo of the title track. With the band set to hit a dozen LPs in 2018 now might be a good time to reacquaint yourself with the work of their youth.
