Drexciya
Hydro Doorways

The “Hydro Doorways” EP was originally released in 2000. It's long out of print and in dire need of a reissue. Here it is! This compliments of the Neptune's Lair LP and could be described as a sister release. Gerald Donald and James Stinson were at the height of their game when this baby was originally released and fans of techno unite in their love of all things Drexciyan. Genius lads!

Drexciya
Digital Tsunami

Sadly ‘electro’ is now all too often synonymous with mostly terrible stuff -- electroclash, electro swing, etc. Well, Drexciya was electro at its best - hard, dark, and fast. As a new wave of young producers are obviously going back to these roots -- a quick listen to Objekt’s Flatland, one of the best records of 2014, is testament to this -- it’s nice to see Tresor reissuing this on 12”. Keep an eye out for Tresor’s upcoming reissue of Drexciya’s double-LP ‘Harness the Storm’, too.

Dopplereffekt
Athanatos

‘Athanatos’ is the New 12” from techno/electro project Dopplereffekt - featuring one half of the legendary Drexciya - a five-track release that follows on from last years stellar ‘Cellular Automata’. All dour-dystopian-grind, this new EP finds the duo in far more overtly rhythmic territory than last years full length, which arrived a whole decade after their last full album. It's typically lysergic stuff from true dance auteurs.

Dopplereffekt
Cellular Automata

Exciting times afoot as Dopplereffekt announce their first full-length album release in a decade! Cellular Automata is an album derived from various mathematical processes, but still maintaining the crucial power you’d expect from a Gerald Donald (also of Drexciya!) project. LP in eye-warping sleeve on Leisure System.

The Other People Place
Lifestyles Of The Laptop Café

The long wished-for repress of Lifestyles of the Laptop Café finally materialises, fifteen years after the late James Stinson of Drexciya renown released the classic anonymously as the Other People Place on Warp. It’s a seamless, calming and moving piece of downtempo electronica that has become a key album in dance music history, and should well be a staple item in any home listening fan’s collection with its renewed availability.

Glass Domain
Glass Domain

This Glass Domain material is doubly hard to find: both the initial 1991 test pressings and the 2003 Clone re-pressing are long out-of-print. So Clone have fired up the vinyl plants once more. Glass Domain is the work of Gerald Donald (of Drexciya and Dopplereffekt), and it positively fizzes with creative electro energy, even today!

Transllusion
Mind Over Positive and Negative Dimensional Matter

Tresor is one of Berlin's finest outlets for techno and heady electronic productions, and now they're re-iussing 'Mind Over Positive and Negative Dimensional Matter'. Phew. Let's just take a breather. The record is one of Transllusions', aka one half of Drexciya -- producer James Marcel Stinson, and it originally came out in 2001. Defying the norms of electronic technique and landing on the experimental and short lived abstract-minded Supremat imprint. Now it's back for a loving re-evaluation by fans of all things cosmic.

Elecktroids
Elektroworld

Would it surprise you to learn that Elektroworld by Elecktroids is electro? I hope not. The long sought after 1995 album has now been reissued on Clone Classic Cuts after decades in the Discogs wastes. Supposedly the work of Drexciya's Gerald Donald and James Stinson, this is an album of Kraftwerk inspired electro that is always assuredly Detroit.

Clarence G
Hyperspace Sound Lab

Heads up all you techno heads! The early work of Clarence G, aka James Stinson, aka one of the members of goddamn Drexciya, has at last been taken out of the exclusive grasp of rich collectors, as Hyperspace Soundlab is at last reissued for the masses! Classic Detroit business, out on Clone Aqualung Series.

L.A.M.
Balance of Terror

The name on the wax is L.A.M. (Life After Mutation), but the Detroit heads among you will know who lurks behind that moniker: this is basically the first ever Drexciya release! Deleted for a long time, this reissue on Clone Aqualung Series brings the Balance Of Terror back into action. And god damn, this is hard-hitting, dancefloor-dominating stuff.

Elecktroids
Kilohertz

Long sought after and deeply missed EP from Kraftwerk inspired electro duo Elecktroids. Likely the work of Gerald Donald and James Stinson who you  probably know as Drexciya. The original version of Kilohertz on Warp featured a paltry four tracks to Clone Aqualung Series' five. Worthwhile if only for that feat of musical archaeology.

Lab Rat XL
Mice Or Cyborg

Clone's offshoot label for all things Drexciya repress this in-demand classic from the seven storms. Produced by James Stinson (RIP) and originally released on Clone back in 2003, 'Mice Or Cyborg' still sounds as fresh and futuristic as it did thirteen years ago. Hi-tech soul at its finest from this legendary Detroit artist aka Clarence G, Jack Peoples, Shifted Phases, The Other People Place and Transllusion.

Jack Peoples (James Stinson)
Laptop Cafe

Here are some previously unreleased tracks from Jack Peoples, aka the sadly departed James Stinson of Drexciya. Laptop Cafe’s six tracks, not yet properly named, were retrieved from a thought-lost DAT tape recently and have been polished up and pressed to a 12” for the first time. Here  you'll here the legendary Detroit producer operating in a very similar mode to his The Other People Place classic album on Warp. EP on Clone Aqualung Series.

Transllusion
A Moment Of Insanity

Clone's dedicated Drexciyan wing Clone Aqualung Series release a 4-track EP of tracks discovered on an old DAT. These previously unheard, futuristic Detroit techno/electro Transllusion productions from the mind of James Stinson (Drexciya, The Other People Place, Clarance G, Jack Peoples) are a dream come true for fans of previous output on Rephlex, Supremat/Tresor.

XOR Gate
Conic Sections

Tresor present yet another alias from Heinrich Mueller - real name Gerald Donald. The legendary Detroit producer has been behind some of the most impressive, immersive and cutting-edge electronic music to emerge from the motor city; Dopplereffekt, Drexciya, Elecktroids, Arpanet,Der Zyklus, Glass Domain, Intellitronic, Japanese Telecom, Rudolf Klorzeiger, Z Therapy, Abstract Thought, Daughter Produkt, Flexitone, Gedankenexperiment, L.A.M., NRSB-11, Zerkalo, Zwischenwelt. This new project is a single 30-minute piece which was originally commissioned by ArtCenter South Florida in Miami. If you skipped geometry class, fear not as Donald's sounds require no understanding of his concepts to be enjoyed. Sit back as three dimensional shapes plot new trajectories as they emerge from the speakers.

Drexciya
Black Sea / Wavejumper (Aqualung Versions)

Alternative mixes of old Drexciya favourites have been located, and since it would be a shame not to have the world hear them, Black Sea and Wavejumper’s Aqualung Versions have been pressed to vinyl. These mixes sound as future-slick as you could desire, and a third track, ‘Unknown Journey XI’ is added to sweeten the deal.
