Graham Dee is a ‘60s legend and Acid Jazz are paying tribute to him with Carnaby Street Soul West Coast Vibes - a compilation of his best moments. He was an A&R guy-cum-musician with Atlantic Records, playing with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones and occasionally standing in for Syd Barrett at Pink Floyd gigs. He left Atlantic after damaging some studio gear with a pistol and firing a hunting bow which caused a flood in the office - Keith Moon level stuff. He has also worked with Elkie Brooks, Mike Berry and Georgie Fame. The septuagenarian Dee is still making new music, but why not get to know him a little first.
