Nexus 21
The Rhythm of Life

30th anniversary reissue for the classic The Rhythm Of Life by Nexus 21 originally released in 1989. Despite going on to make some legendary 12” EPs, this was the electronic duo’s only full-length album. It was originally released on Blue Chip before Network snapped them up. The album is heavily influenced by the sound of Detroit techno with additional elements of breakbeat, acid house and techno. Classic early UK house/techno from Chris Peat and Mark Archer - best known as legendary rave tag team Altern 8. Originally issued as a single LP, this new edition has been remastered and spread across two slabs of vinyl.

Mark Archer AKA DJ Nex
The EPs

Some heavyweight 90s dance tackle here. DJ Nex - Mark Archer to his mum - released EPs The Nex and Poundstretcher in 1992 and 1993 respectively. They’re full of fun hardcore/jungle/acid tracks, a little zanier than your average. The people at Music Mondays always figured they could have been cut a little louder, so that’s exactly what they’ve done here. Remastered across three vinyl with some dinky new artwork.
