The Districts
You Know I'm Not Going Anywhere

Pennsylvania indie-rockers, The Districts, are back with their fourth album, You Know I’m Not Going Anywhere. It’s the follow-up to their well received 2017 album, Popular Manipulations. The band’s front man, Rob Grote, describes the album title as being unachievable, putting off death and sticking around forever with your better half. I’m guessing he likes to dream about that though.

The Districts
Telephone

Debut full-length album from The Districts, who manage to write and record the whole thing before they even left high school! Nicely done guys. Telephone, from 2012, is an Americana-rock record driven by a rootsy guitar sound and full-bodied vocals that have an impressive amount of character for one so young. 9 tracks pressed to vinyl, with a download code for the full 13 included.

The Districts
Popular Manipulations

The Districts are a real indie rock band, writing about their lives and loves and singing it out above sharp and sweeping anthemic guitars. Popular Manipulations is an emotionally engaged set of rock music that is grown-up, but not so much so that it loses its vulnerability. Released on CD and LP by Fat Possum.

The Districts
A Flourish And A Spoil

'A Flourish And A Spoil’ is Pennsylvania rockers’ debut LP through Fat Possum Records. Produced by the ever-reliable John Congleton, who has previously worked with St. Vincent and Angel Olsen, its bluesy garage rock aesthetic, uplifting guitar and feedback serves as an appropriate follow-up to the band’s debut EP released earlier in 2014. Nostalgic but ragged at the edges.

The Districts

Pennsylvania indie rock four-piece The Districts are now three albums into their career. Skip back five years and you’ll find their eponymous debut EP for Fat Possum. Here it is reissued with an additional track, Silver Couplets, a BBC session version of a live fave from their debut album, Telephone.
