Paula Temple
Edge Of Everything

We’ve been waiting a fair while for this one. Paula Temple has been releasing high-grade techno EPs since the early 2000’s, but Edge Of Everything is the first LP from the self-styled ‘noisician’. It’s an uncompromising set of harsh electronics and pounding, industrial body music that is occasionally offset by moments of stark beauty - see ambient piece ‘Don’t Use Your Eyes Now’ on this count. Think Surgeon and Ellen Allien.

Paula Temple & Eomac

New from Eotrax (Lakker, LAIR) is a super-limited drop that comes courtesy of Paula Temple and label boss Eomac. ETXC001 is the first release in a series of collaborative records that are being readied by the label - Kamikaze Space Programme and Demian Licht have already signed on for future volumes. In this case we get two noisy, disorientating bits of techno that nod to Autechre and Surgeon.

Paula Temple

Tribal drums and dystopian synthscapes make up the Deathvox EP by Paula Temple. Fusing the dark sensibilities of sci-fi with a throbbing techno pulse, closer "Ful" plays like a more organised Pete Swanson. An expansion of the industrial techno of her debut, Deathvox embraces rich textures and fizzing distortion to gripping effect. Out on 12” vinyl from R&S.
