This is a definitive vinyl edition of Marshall McLuhan's audio companion piece to his landmark 1967 book ‘The Medium Is The Massage’. It uses audio clips of McLuhan speaking interrupted by alien sounds or voices interjecting creating an oddball patchwork of sounds. Its been out of print for over 40 years and this special re-issue includes a 20 page 8x11" booklet with essays by DJ Spooky and Michael Vasquez as well as unpublished photos from the original recording series.
