Denis Jones makes music that has been described as ‘scuzzy Mancunian blues’ and ‘ear-massaging and heart-stirring’. His new album, 3333, is the final part of a trilogy that began 15 years ago. He has been likened to One World-era John Martyn, although since this comparison has added more electronic elements to his sound. He shares his studio space with Graham Massey of 808 State and Andrew Carthy, aka Mr. Scruff whose advice and equipment have proved invaluable. CD on The State51 Conspiracy.
