Good Sad Happy Bad

Good Sad Happy Bad are an experimental indie four-piece who used to be known by the name Micachu and The Shapes. The personnel remains the same, but who plays what has changed. Their name comes from the last album they recorded in their previous incarnation. Shades is their first album, and who knows, maybe a future band name.

Mica Levi
Jackie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

Fans of Mica Levi’s acclaimed Under The Skin score, or indeed any of her other excellent work as Micachu, will be pleased to see her working on another major film soundtrack. Jackie is the biopic of Jacqueline Kennedy, whose story receives a dash of extra tension from Levi’s creeping / sweeping compositions. Original soundtrack release on Milan.

Micachu & The Shapes
Good Sad Happy Bad

After multiple outings composing soundtracks and contemporary classical pieces, Micachu is back with her band The Shapes for Good Sad Happy Bad. A hefty jam between the three showed them the way, and the record consequently has a beautifully fresh and free sound. Quality energy music, release on Rough Trade.
