Black Moth Vinyl, CD & tapes by Black Moth at Norman Records
Anatomical Venus is the third album by Leeds/London stoner/psych rock five piece Black Moth.Their sound is more focused and with this they have made arguably their best album yet. They take their influences from the classic rock of Black Sabbath and The Stooges, the emotionally intense music of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds and Swans to more recent noiseniks such as Pissed Jeans. Black & White Marbled LP and CD on Spinefarm.
- Vinyl LP (NHS005LP)

Having been pillars of Leeds’ underground music scene for the last decade or so, Black Moth finally got the attention they deserve in 2012 with their debut full-length 'The Killing Jar' being praised by the likes of Kerrang. 'Condemned To Hope', however, is an altogether mightier beast. With help from Jim Sclavunos (Grinderman, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Cramps) this album transcends all of their influences; turbulant, beguilling and riff heavy, it retrofits 60s garage rock at its most sinister.
