Meet You At The Jazz Corner Of The World Volume 2 by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers was recorded and Birdland in September 1960. The band Blakey assembled was a bit special featuring Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merrit. It also featured some of Birdland MC, Peewee Marquette’s stage announcements. Top notch classic jazz stuff.

It was recorded on September 14th 1960 at New York’s famous Birdland jazz club. Volume one features versions of  tunes by Hank Mobley and Thelonius Monk. One for all you hard-bop fans out there.
