Juliana Hatfield
Juliana Hatfield Sings The Police

American cult icon Juliana Hatfield continues her planned series of cover albums of artists that had a formative influence on her in her youth, with this 12-track tribute to The Police. While they’ve often been unfashionable, Sting’s former outfit wrote songs of great thoughtfulness and humanity, elements which Hatfield brings out with her own style on Juliana Hatfield Sings The Police.

Juliana Hatfield
Sings Olivia Newton-John

Ok this is actually a thing. Juliana Hatfield trawls the archives of her hero Olivia Newton John and has hand selected a load of her favourite songs to sing including 'Physical' and 'Xanadu'. But there's actually an important side to this too.... a dollar from the sale of each record will go to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre.

Juliana Hatfield

Juliana Hatfield, whose career stretches back to the early 90’s, thought she was finished with songwriting until a certain presidential election happened. Like (we predict) quite a few artists, this jolted her into creativity, speedily writing and recording fourteen songs of vivid music. The results are here on Pussycat. Out on American Laundromat.

Whatever, My Love

Juliana Hatfield has released a ton of albums since leaving ‘80s Boston three-piece Blake Babies, however, with her band The Juliana Hatfield Three she had only released one, 1993’s Become What You Are, until now. More than 20 years later the band have reconvened to record Whatever, My Love. Whilst Hatfield admits that the band aren’t reinventing the wheel with their guitar-led, melodic indie-rock she believes that this release sees her as a more confident artist.
