Smell the Magic

Originally released as a six-track EP in 1990 but then re-issued with three more songs the following year to convert it to a full album, Smell The Magic by American underground heroes L7 gets remastered for its 30th anniversary. It saw the band beginning to discover their latent melodic talents, and is a crucial step in explaining 1992's breakout Bricks Are Heavy.

Hungry For Stink

Now that they’re back touring and with a first new record in 19 years, it’s timely that one of L7’s prime-time albums is getting a re-issue. Hitting the sweet spot between grunge and power-pop, 1994’s Hungry For Stink was the punk quartet’s finest hour, according to many fans. Contains ‘Fuel My Fire’, which was made famous by The Prodigy on their Fat of the Land album.

L7

Nothing like a reissue to build momentum for a long-overdue reunion. In anticipation of their first studio album in 14 years, original riot grrrls L7 are reissuing their self-titled debut. L7 set the stage, back in 1988, for a wave of high-energy girl bands in the 90s and might be considered a punk monument, back out on Epitath.
