Shlohmo
The End

New full-length album from LA beat scene producer Shlohmo, his first since 2015. It is titled The End, a fairly grand title, but that’s because it's kind of about the apocalypse. But don’t worry too much, it's about the apocalypse in a chill way. Plenty of gorgeous hazy soundscapes as well as intense moments and sleek chunky beatwork. Out on Friends of Friends.

Shlohmo
Vacation

Shlohmo’s 2012 EP Vacation has been long gone for a long time, but Mr Shlo has kindly taken pity on those who missed out with this new repress, on the Friends of Friends label. Vacation includes three original tracks, as well as four remixes of other artists in an LA Beat Scene style, including Airhead and Nicolas Jaar. Pick it up this time!

Shlohmo
Bad Vibes: Rarities + Extras

Bad Vibes was the debut album of LA producer Shlohmo, and still a major favourite of his fans. This release bundles up some rarities and extras from the same period, including live versions and eerie ambient drifts. We can only ponder how this material never reached our ears before! 12” release on the Friends of Friends label.

Shlohmo
Laid Out EP

12” vinyl on Friends of Friends. With the release of his new album Dark Red Shlohmo  is re-releasing a few of his previous works. The Laid Out EP is his first foray into working on vocal centered songs. Featuring How To Dress Well this EP is a perfect introduction to how Shlohmo has developed his sound in the last few years.

Shlohmo
Emerge From Smoke Single

People are digging Shlohmo hard these days, so no doubt this fresh new 7” release will cause some excitement out there. Emerge From Smoke is a hard track to pin down, lurching and thudding this way and that. The B-side, meanwhile, is exclusive to this limited-to-1000 copies fancy-sleeved release, so bear that in mind yeah?

Shlohmo
Dark Red

Available as either 12” Vinyl or CD. Shlohmo’s 2nd album is a push past his usual sound, venturing into almost post-IDM/rock territory. Shlohmo himself Citing Burzum and Boards of Canada and signposts for this album is pretty on point, I’d also add the slower darkened cold 80s tones of oOoOO and other slow witchhouse into the mix.

Shlohmo
Shlomoshun Deluxe

This is an expanded version of Shlohmo’s Shlomoshun Deluxe LP, featuring remixes from Tokimonsta and Fulgeance. Basically the record that ‘got everyone’s attention’ to what the LA producer was doing. If you’re into Nosaj Thing, Mike Slott and Flying Lotus this is a record you’ll be glad has be revisited.
