Surfer Blood
Snowdonia

Snowdonia is the fourth album by Floridian indie band Surfer Blood. It’s the band’s first album since the tragic death of guitarist Thomas Feteke. Bassist Kevin Williams also left the band, prompting high school friends Michael McCleary and Lindsay Mills to be recruited on guitar and bass respectively. As with previous Surfer Blood albums the hooks are in place, however, Snowdonia boasts bigger and more complex songs. Frontman John Paul Pitts returned to a formula that he used on the band’s debut album Astro Coast by writing and mixing the album alone. Overcoming the tragedy has strengthened the band. This could be their best yet….

Surfer Blood
1000 Palms

A little of surfer/indie chillwave rock is always much appreciated, and Surfer Blood do a splendid job at concocting a perfect mix. Lo-fi drums and lush guitars, with pleasant vocal harmonies, these guys make you feel like summer is here. The forecast: 1000 Palms will be the soundtrack of your summer road trips.
