The Hempolics are here with their organic roots vibes! Boss Clock Me Style has the hooks and bumping bass, with graceful singer Nubiya and Dan Collier combining as perfect foils for each other. Respected sound engineer and producer Grippa Laybourne brought it all together. Deft bass and the finest dub guitar finish off a perfect blend. The band have honed their tight sound in many club nights and live settings. Supported by David Rodigan, Don Letts, Lauren Laverne and many others. 7" on Shark Free Records.
Fans of this single will be divided into two groups - the side A camp and the side B camp. Side A - the original single - Me Love To Sing, will be adorned by lovers of traditional and dub reggae. Side B is the 'Hypermix', a more upbeat electronic version which wonderfully blurs several genre lines and offers something quite unique. The Hempolics are relative newcomers but look like they could be rising stars in the UK reggae scene. Released as Vinyl 7" on Shark Free Records.
A single from the upcoming album, Life Ain’t Easy is The Hempolics’ ode to difficult times whilst trying to project some love into the world. It’s a rattling reggae piece with some nice male and female vocals. It’s soulful with some nice backing vocals whilst remaining a classic, dance floor reggae dancer. On the B side is a remix from Canada’s Dubmatix which adds some more oompf to the proceedings.
