Will Burns & Hannah Peel
Chalk Hill Blue (Deluxe Edition)

Musician Hannah Peel and poet Will Burns link up for the dreamy Chalk Hill Blue. Neither artist takes the lead here, sometimes Burns responds to Peel and sometimes Peel to Burns. The result is always captivating; Burns delivers his poems with authority and conviction, while Peel's music is as eccentric as usual. This edition is bundled with the duo's 'Pale Tussock' 7".

Will Burns & Hannah Peel
Pale Tussock

After the runaway success of the previous collaboration between Will Burns and Hannah Peel ('Chalk Hill Blue'), the pair join forces again to create hypnotic follow up - 'Pale Tussock'. The release is full of immersive electronics and escapist soundscapes, while tinged with the political and social anxieties of our era.

Mary Casio: Journey To Cassiopeia

Imagine going from Barnsley to outer space. This is what Northern Irish electronic artist Hannah Peel explores on this new opus. It's the story of an elderly pioneering electronic music artist who dreams of leaving her Barnsley home and seeing Cassiopeia for herself. Peel realises this with horns by those responsible for Tubular Brass. She's also one third of the Magnetic North dont'cha know.

Find Peace / Rebox – I Believe in Father Christmas

Oh shit. There's mention of Christmas. We haven't decorated at all and are completely unprepared for this development. Indie folk artist Hannah Peel has a new 7" out that, as always, showcases her commanding and unwavering vocal and the intricate melodies that go with it. That there's a tune called "I Believe In Father Christmas" is totally worrying, but it'll be okay in the end.

Awake But Always Dreaming

Concept album from Irish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hannah Peel, exploring the descent into dementia. Beginning with the hope and exuberance of childhood, and charting love and life before a shift of pace represents the confusion and fuzziness of late-life dementia. Bright and joyful, yet at times dark and percussive. This is Peel's second solo album. Available now on vinyl or CD.
