The nifty name Robot Koch is just the beginning of this project’s goodness. The Fluid EP, which also features pianos, voice and production work from Julien Marchal, Chi Thanh and Delhia De France, is a fine suite of melodic dancefloor material with a real emotional drive behind it. 12” on the Diynamic label.
As producer Robot Koch relocated from Berlin to L.A. he was inspired by an Alan Moore quote about the universe being a four-dimensional site in which nothing changes or moves and that every moment that has existed up until now and will exist in the future is part of one big Hypermoment. Hypermoment is Koch’s first album in four years and his first for Monkeytown, the highly regarded imprint of Modeselektors. The album features old collaborators such as Schwarzmodul and Delhia De France as well as upcoming artists such as Mree, Stephen Henderson and Fassine.
- Vinyl Double LP (MTR61LP)

Crate diggers rejoice, with swung MPC grooves galore. A must for fans of Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Shlomo. This Deluxe version includes remixes from Shlomo and Flako.
With little bleeps floating through the dusky night sky, Unpaved is both movie and soundtrack, in which both images and sound matter equally. Robot Koch has delivered an exemplary and visual experience which stands its own ground. Great for dreaming away, where the images go in through your ears and out through your eyes.
