Bushman's Revenge
Et Hån Mot Overklassen

Making their debut on Hubro, Et Hån Mot Overklassen - translating as ‘A Mockey of the Upper Class’ - sees Norwegian outfit Bushman’s Revenge significantly alter their normal modus operandi. Out go the heavy gothic histrionics of old, to be replaced by a much more subtle, acoustically based sound.

Bushman's Revenge
Bushman's Fire

Bushman’s Revenge are a jazz band who have often looked like a proggy rock band, and this live document is no exception. Bushman’s Fire is about right, as the group are on storming form during this Oslo gig. They even brought in extra sax and hammond players for extra firepower. Released by Rune Grammofon.

Bushman's Revenge
Jazz, Fritt Etter Hukommelsen

Bushman’s Revenge are a jazz band who have often looked like a rock band, but Jazz, Fritt Etter Hukommelsen has them moving back towards the roots of the music they love: there are versions of pieces by Albert Ayler and McCoy Tyner here. Although some fairly gnarly electric blues guitar solos find their way in as well. Out on Rune Grammofon.
