Grace Jones
Private Life / She's Lost Control

We here is a real curio. If indeed you are in the position to splurge £22.49 on a two track slab of vinyl you'll get the Russell Hart bothering (ask your grandma) singer taking on Joy Division's 'She's Lost Control'. Crazy and scary. The more well known 'Private Life' is actually a the Pretenders song. Who knew?

Grace Jones
Nightclubbing

Grace Jones’s fifth album, and the second recorded at Chris Blackwell’s legendary Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas, reissued as a weighty double vinyl set. Perhaps the inimitable diva’s defining work, it mixes originals ("Pull Up To The Bumper", "Feel Up", "Art Groupie") with Grace’s typically inspired interpretations (Bill Withers’s "Use Me", The Police’s "Demolition Man", Iggy’s "Nightclubbing") and features the rock-solid dub-funk rhythm section of Sly Dunbar (drums) and Robbie Shakespeare (bass). 180g double vinyl LP.

Grace Jones
Warm Leatherette

A special reissue of Warm Leatherette, Grace Jones’ 1980 album. This collection remasters the album tracks and singles and B-sides, instrumentals and club and dub versions, making a total of 27 tracks. The 2CD set comes in a leatherette case and the four 180g LPs are in a hard case with a download code. A hefty celebration of one of the greats at her very best.
