Harry Pussy
Ride A Dove

Good old Harry Pussy, one of the great forces of nature in 90’s American unrock. Ride A Dove arrived in 1996 on the Siltbreeze label, where it surprised many by going even further into the abyss than their previous album. Rather than coherent songs, Ride A Dove presents an ever-shifting collage of what probably started out as live recordings, which were then sliced up, layered, and mixed through a cheap distortion pedal (!). The results are glorious, and completely fucked. Reissued by Palilalia.

A Real New England Fuck Up

Miami-based noise rock trio Harry Pussy were active for 5 years in the mid-’90s. They left a legacy of three influential albums and clutch of EPs. In 1998 year after they split, a slew of live recordings were released that displayed the band’s ferocity and energy. Now, A Real New England Fuck Up adds to those releases, capturing the trio at their blistering best. LP with extensive liner notes, limited to 500 copies.

Bill Orcutt
Bill Orcutt

Known for his free-form guitar demolitions, Bill Orcutt's latest release marks something of a sea change. Here, the lopsided virtuoso offers a record that appreciates space in a different way, letting his notes ring out so the environment around him can twist them how they like it. It's a record in which Orcutt leaves some room to be filled a la Loren Connors while still offering his frenetic jazz premonitions.

VDSQ - Solo Acoustic Vol. 10

Back in the 90’s, few would have anticipated the position that electric Harry Pussy noisemaker Bill Orcutt would be in by the 2010’s: Orcutt unamplified and acoustic? But so it has come to pass, with many records now released of Bill’s intuitive improvised take on acoustic avant-blues. VDSQ - Solo Acoustic Vol. 10, recorded in a stairwell on Christmas day, is another fine example of where he’s at.

Harry Pussy

Reissue of the self-released debut of Bill Orcutt and Adris Hoyos’ Harry Pussy, one of the greatest acts in the whole noise-rock game. Totally raw and blasted in playing and in production, this 1993 statement includes a few tracks that are less than 30 seconds long, as well as their cover of Kraftwerk’s ‘Showroom Dummies’.
