Temples
Paraphernalia

Here we have ‘Paraphernalia’, a stand-alone single released by British retro-rock auteurs Temples in September 2020. Mixed by Dave Fridmann and produced by Sean Ono Lennon, 'Paraphernalia' bolts the Sixties psychedelia of which the band are so fond onto a kinetic disco-pop chassis.

Temples
Hot Motion

Incredibly 60s looking band in continue to make 60s influenced music shocker. Temples have been around for a good few years and with Hot Motion look set to make the so called 'big time'. The band they bring to mind is Kasabian but like, not in a bad way. Sunshine streams between the chords. On ATO Records.

Temples
Volcano

Here's a new one from curly mopped psych pop fans Temples. Their previous record 'Sun Structures' was the type of psych record you could take home to meet your mum so we are expecting more radio-friendly vaguely '60s tunes to hum when you put the bins out of a night. Lead track 'Certainty' sounds like MGMT gone sensible so this could be a winner.

Temples
Sun Structures

Listening to this album six years after release it is remarkable how fresh it sounds. The debut album from Kettering's finest Temples is a tour de force of '60s psych moves shot through with pounding modern day production techniques taking in bits of the Zombies, the Byrds, Iron Butterfly and Tame Impala. A truly great British guitar pop album that shouldn't be ignored.
