Bersarin Quartett
Methoden und Maschinen

Bersarin Quartett is the ambient project of German DJ, sound designer and musician Thomas Bücker. Methoden und Maschinen is the fourth album by the project. It seems Bücker has allowed influences from Andy Stott, Tim Hecker, Fennesz, Murcof, Dictaphone and Hidden Orchestra with whom Bersarin Quartett has played with in recent years. This, of course, is no bad thing.

Bersarin Quartett
III

Massive draws here for fans of Deaf Center, or A Winged Victory for the Sullen, and even add in a bit of Bohren und der Club of Gore for good measure. Melancholia fully explored in these releases, and slowed to an unbearable halt. Layers of strings, synths and distorted swells. Thomas Bücker’ Bersarin Quartett’s third release in this series.
