worriedaboutsatan
Revenant

Bradford buds worriedaboutsatan are back with album four, the first since 2016’s Blank Tape. Their pensive and gloomy electronica, formerly quite gritty and lo-fi, now sounds all clean and competent, while arpeggiated synths, firmly to the fore, bubble darkly away. Perfect for tech demos and housework.

Thomas Ragsdale
Self Zero

Yorkshire musician Thomas Ragsdale has previously made music for BBC documentaries. His palette has stretched from the ambient to the energetic, composing on vintage string machines, 808s and taking inspiration from Polish composer, Krzysztof Penderecki. Self Zero keeps the listener on the edge of their seat with anxious rhythms and ever-growing tension. LP on Burning Witches Records.

Blank Tape

Don’t worry folks, the newest album from worriedaboutsatan isn’t actually a Blank Tape conceptual release: although it is in cassette format, it is also filled with music. worriedaboutsatan have always been great at creating evocative atmospheres with their semi-ambient post-rock \ electronica, and Blank Tape fully delivers. Released by Spun Out Of Control.

Adam Betts / worriedaboutsatan / Negra Branca / Orcer
Rail Cables - Autumn Selection 2015

Train journeys can be inspiring things, and it is this spirit of travel that the Rail Cables label admirably try to harness with their series of 4-way splits. Autumn Selection 2015 has delicate guitar from Orcer, minimal electronica from worriedaboutsatan, and solo projects from members of Gnod (Negra Branca) and Three Trapped Tigers (Adam Betts). What personnel! Each artist has filled a side of vinyl, making for a good and varied slab of music.
