Zero 7
The Garden (Special Edition)

The Garden was the third album by chillout electronica types Zero 7. It was originally released in 2006. The album was notable for featuring guest vocals from Jose Gonzales and Sia. The CD version of this special edition features even more tracks, and those include more tracks featuring the aforementioned stars which have only previously been available digitally.

Zero 7
When It Falls

When It Falls is the second album by production duo Zero 7. It was originally released in 2004, so here we have a 15th anniversary edition, I guess. Its available on a 2CD version that includes a disc of remixes by artists such as Stereolab and Danger Mouse. It’s also available on heavyweight vinyl unlike the flimsy original pressing. Features vocals from Sia, Mozez, Sophie Barker and Tina Dico.

Zero 7
Aurora / Mono

Long lasting downtempo electronica crew Zero 7 return with a 12" on Make Records. The a-side is sees the band collaborating with ungoogleable vocalist Hidden on 'Mono' while for the b-side they've worked again with Jose Gonzalez (who is decidedly more googleable). Smooth to the point of being slippery.

7 X 7

For Record Store Day 2018 chill-out experts Zero 7 handpicked some of their favourite tracks from across their career and released them on a lavish 7" box set. The collectible nature of the set is amplified by artwork from in demand graphic designer Julian House. First time on vinyl for a lot of these tracks.

Simple Things

Here we have a reissue of the first Zero 7 album, first put out into the world way back in 2001. Still sounds smoothy smooth, an hour’s worth of chilled, romantically inclined music that sends the basslines out to the front of the mix, a warm bed of synths and organs nestled beneath it all. The reissue stretches to two LPs, put out by Rhino.
