Wreckless Eric
Construction Time & Demolition

I guess Wreckless Eric was true pop-punk before it was bastardised by a bunch of short-lived MTV-friendly ‘comedy metal’ bands in the early 2000s. Famed for his catchy 1977 single, Whole Wide World, he has happily operated under the radar ever since. Construction Time and Demolition is his new album, his first in three years, and finds Wreckless Eric in fine form.

Wreckless Eric
amERICa

Wreckless Eric releases anew! The old Stiff punk recorded this first new material in a decade in and around his house in the USA, with amplifiers apparently squeezed into every corridor (a vision I rather enjoy). The scratchy attitude of his past mixes with typically American sounds and lyrical themes. amERICa (hmmm...) is out on Fire Records.

Wreckless Eric Presents : The Hitsville Houseband's '12 O'Clock Stereo'

Surely Newhaven’s finest and only gift to the world, Wreckless Eric brings us this obscure collection courtesy of Fire Records. These country-fied tunes first appeared in 1996 and came to the attention of John Peel but not too many others. Recorded in Paris and in the reliably uncompromising vein of Eric’s post-Stiff records era.
