Billy Childish
Punk Rock Ist Nicht Tot

Punk Rock Ist Nicht Tot is a career-spanning compilation album by hugely prolific Godfather of the Kent punk and garage rock scene, Billy Childish. Contains songs from his work with The Pop Rivets, The Milkshakes, Thee Mighty Caesars, The Delmonas, Thee Headcoates and more. Sleeve notes by Stewart Lee.

Thee Headcoats
Elementary Headcoats (The Singles 1990 -1999)

Thee Headcoats were one of Billy Childish’s bands, active through 90’s. Elementary Headcoats compiles their 90’s singles, including the likes of ‘I’ve Been Fucking Your Daughters And Pissing On Your Lawn’. Scrappy, snotty, punkishness. Double CD or triple LP on the Damaged Goods label.

Thee Headcoats
In Tweed We Trust

Irreverent underground trio Thee Headcoats, one of the bands fronted by Kentish amateurist yelper, multimedia artist and wearer of impressive moustache Billy Childish, enjoys a reissue of its punkish, naughty 1996 record In Tweed We Trust. The songs sound as if they were recorded down a potato-powered telephone, and are all the better for it.

Thee Headcoats
Brother Is Dead...But Fly Is Gone!

Thee Headcoats are one of Billy Childish’s many, many projects: a loose-swinging punk band. As part of M’Lady’s Records’ Childish reissue program, Brother Is Dead…But Fly Is Gone! has been remastered and reissued. This is a covers record, so we get to hear Clash, Buzzcocks etc. tracks re-imagined in unique style. One-off pressing!

Thee Headcoats
The Messerschmitt Pilot's Severed Hand

Thee Headcoats is just one of many Billy Childish projects, but apparently this album is a particular favourite of his. It does capture his garage-punk spirit pretty effectively, with lo-fi production and snotty tunes like ‘Blood Piss and Sperm’. First put out in 1997 and long out of print, The Messerschmitt Pilot’s Severed Hand is now reissued on Damaged Goods.

Thee Headcoats
Conundrum

Thee Headcoats, led by Billy Childish, preceded the garage rock revival of the early 2000s by some 10 years. The band were extremely prolific releasing 6 albums and 15 singles in their first three years together. Conundrum was originally released in 1994, five years into their career. It's a fine example of snarling, powerful garage-punk and is regarded as one of their best albums.

Thee Headcoats
The Good Times Are Killing Me

Thee Headcoats are one of Billy Childish’s many, many projects: a loose-swinging punk band. As part of M’Lady’s Records’ Childish reissue program, The Good Times Are Killing Me is back on the streets, strutting its skronky garage thrills. One of the best-loved Headcoats sets, this reissue is limited to only 500 copies!

Thee Headcoats
Headcoats Down!

Thee Headcoats were one of the most prolific music projects of English painter/film-maker/author Billy Childish. Formed in Kent in the 1980S, Thee Headcoats produced fourteen full length albums that reflected Childish’s love of stripped down, direct recording and ramshackle garage rock sound. Headcoates Down! is a classic example of the band's raw R&B sound. For fans of Thee Oh Sees and The Mummies.
