Thee Headcoatees
Punk Girls

Thee Headcoatees were of course part of that vintage Medway scene, formed as a sort of alternate version of Billy Childish’s outfit Thee Headcoats (can you spot the difference in spelling?). 1997’s Punk Girls is a perfectly titled set of fast and direct femme-garage rock, with Holly Golightly doing her thing to perfection. Reissued by Damaged Goods.

Thee Headcoatees
Sisters Of Suave

Thee Headcoatees, fronted by Holly Golightly, were formed by Kent’s favourite son, Billy Childish as the backing band for his group, Thee Headcoats. Their songs were mostly written by Billy Childish. They disbanded in 1999 and Sisters of Suave was their 8th and final album. Sisters of Suave is available on red coloured vinyl LP and CD.
