The Wolfhounds
Electric Music

Always good to see former C86 anger merchants the Wolfhounds back and Electric Music is their first new music since 2016’s Untied Kingdom. As usual it is high octane indie rock full of skewered guitars, pounding drums and and Dave Callahan’s distinctive guttural bark spewing out lyrics of a decidedly political bent.

The Wolfhounds
Hands In The Till: The Complete John Peel Sessions

Now active again releasing a couple of well received albums in the last few years, the Wolfhounds were a great 80s band who had one finger in C86 jangle and strum and another filthy finger in the noise rock of the likes of Sonic Youth. This album collects the band's three four song Peel Sessions on one LP showcasing the band at their most gritty and raw.

The Wolfhounds
Unseen Ripples From A Pebble

C86 originals The Wolfhounds were more gritty and intense than the fey, shambling reputation the influential cassette has now, as evidenced on their 1987 debut LP ‘Unseen Ripples From A Pebble’. Reissued and remastered featuring 15 bonus tracks and all of their recorded output for the Pink Label, this album has not been available on CD until now. Also included is a 7” version of single ‘Me’ that was originally released on Idea Records.

The Wolfhounds
Untied Kingdom (…or how to come to terms with your culture)

Debuting in 1986, disbanding in 1990 and now back with their first full length standalone LP 26 years later, The Wolfhounds are as furious and energetic as they ever were. There is a dystopian reflectiveness to their disjointed and modern-twisted punk, with sample manipulation, dub freak outs and detuned jangly and raw rock and roll chords.

Anthem / Middle-Aged Freak

Indie rockers The Wolfhounds formed in Romford in 1985. The band split, or went on hiatus, in 1990 after releasing four albums. Anthem/Middle Aged Freaks is the third single they have released since their reformation in 2005, following on from Cheer Up and Divide and Fall, which both received great critical acclaim.
