The Times
Go! With The Times

The Times were a post-punk/indie band from London. They were led by Ed Ball who had a stint in Television Personalities with school friend Dan Treacy before forming Teenage Filmstars, a band that eventually morphed into The Times. Go! With The Times was the album that they recorded first but didn’t release until 1985 as their 5th album. Ball seemingly picking up a recording and releasing trick from his beloved Beatles. Classic stuff.

The Times
This Is London

The Times were an ‘80s post-punk/indie band formed from the ashes of Teenage Filmstars by Ed Ball (Also previously of Television Personalities). This Is London was their 2nd album, originally released in 1983 and had a sound influenced by ‘60s garage and early Beatles records. A few Britpop bands probably owe them a debt of gratitude too. Reissue 180g LP and CD on Tapete. Each format limited to 500 copies.
