The Raconteurs
Help Me Stranger / Somedays (Alternate Version)

Kind of like a modern day Travelling Wilburys in both sound and personnel, the Raconteurs released their third album Help Us Stranger last summer to excellent sales. Now the sorta title track is coming out as a 7". It's an acoustic rock song with lots of guitar licks - really rootsy. On the other side you get an alternate take on their song Somedays.

Brendan Benson
Dear Life

A co-founder of The Raconteurs along with Jack White as well as a solo artist with a great reputation, Brendan Benson returns with his seventh album, and first after a seven-year hiatus imposed by fatherhood. Dear Life is also his debut for Third Man Records, and sees him, as ever, melding classic rock moves with modern creativity.

The Raconteurs
Help Us Stranger

After more than a decade away (and by away we mean separately playing constantly in many various other groups), The Raconteurs unite for a third studio album, Help Us Stranger. With Brendan Benson and Jack White at the core, the group’s Nashville recording sessions yielded a rich bounty of rock, drawing on blues, soul, funk and country for a tasty all-American album. Help Us Stranger is released by White’s Third Man Records.

The Raconteurs
Consolers Of The Lonely

In 2008 The Raconteurs' legendary second album was released. 'Consolers of the Lonely' is a diverse exploration of modern rock music, including horn sections, murder ballads, and punky vocals, all tied together by the guitar playing of that bloke from the White Stripes. Released on Third Man Records, this is a must-have for fans of blues, rock 'n' roll, and guitars.

Jack White
Connected By Love / Respect Commander

Jack White continues ploughing his solo furrow with a new single on his Nashville-based Third Man label. It’s a double A-sided affair containing the tracks Connected By Love and Respect Commander. A new album will follow at some point in the not too distant future and Jack White has already alerted us to the fact that it’s ‘bizarre’. 7” single on Third Man.

Broken Boy Soldiers

Looking somewhat like the Cardiacs on the sleeve are Jack White's the Raconteurs. This is the project that he collaborated on songwriting with power pop mainstay Brendan Benson. The duo met up initially to just write one song but kept on at it and a full band formed just like that. This re-issue comes with a copper embossed gatefold jacket you lucky, lucky people.

The White Stripes
Get Behind Me Satan

Get Behind Me Satan was the fifth album by The White Stripes. It was originally released in 2005. It saw Jack White change his approach ever so slightly - the were the typical White Stripes numbers such as My Doorbell and Blue Orchid, but there was also the occasional stripped-back ballad that featured piano and even marimba, where previously only guitar and drums would have tread.
