Common Era

Vinyl and CD reissue of Belong's Common Era, the first long player to be released since the celebrated but underexposed October Language. This album retains the fuzzed out ambience but augments the gorgeous, Hecker-esque wooziness with a more song based, shoegaze approach, replete with drums and vocals.

October Language

John Elliot's (Emeralds) always on point Spectrum Spools label give this classy album a much-needed vinyl reissue. Originally released back in 2006 on Carpark Records and later on Kranky, it's an album that truly deserves to remain in print. This fine work of Michael Jones and Turk Dietrich (Second Woman) has the sort of fuzzy, dense and droning emotive textures that will appeal to fans of Flying Saucer Attack, My Bloody Valentine etc.

Second Woman
Instant / Apart

Second Woman is the project of two men, Turk Dietrich and Joshua Eustis from Belong and Telefon Tel Aviv respectively. The pair have tried to distill a number of genres, including house, techno, footwork, and dub, to create something that isn't any of them. Released on the mighty Tresor label.

Second Woman

Joshua Eustis (ex-Nine Inch Nails, Telfon Tel Aviv) and Turk Dietrich (Belong) return to Spectrum Spools with their sophomore full length as Second Woman. Glitchy as possible before breaking out of musicality, programming through code to create twisted technofied beats. A definite must for fans of Autechre or Mark Fell. Comes with download code that includes a bonus remix by Gabor Lazar.
