The Afghan Whigs
Black Love

How does a Yorkshireman take his coffee? Black Love. Ahem. Black Love was the Afghan Whigs 1996 album on which (according to the press release) singer Greg Dulli sang not from the head or from the heart but from his own groin. The album is full of dark soul searching and brooding tension-filled rock that threatens to explode at any moment. Perhaps like Dulli's groin.
