Glasvegas then... The 1st time I heard them i thought they were awful. That debut 7" they did was bobbins (in my opinion).... Then they did the Daddy's Gone 7" which I thought was pretty good (for what it was) and the same goes for the last single. I saw them do Geraldine on Later (will cost your label 20 grand to appear on there you know, Jools has to buy his suits somehow) and it was then they struck me as a pretty decent band. Not something I'd ever go and buy but I can appreciate they've tapped into that Scottish indie heritage...... It's still the Mary Chain crossed with The Proclaimers and (non Scottish) Oasis but I can see people getting all excited about it and I have to say after a few listens I really don't mind it. On 2 x 7" and CD single format.
