Shangri Las with the heartbreak of teenage romances and the swing of
Motown.
Support from Zane Lowe at Radio 1 and MTV, plus support from
NME. Features in Clash Magazine, The Guardian and The Independent,
plus featured video on MySpace. The Duke Spirit will achieve a lot of
coverage this Summer, due to their music appearing in Grand Theft Auto
IV, ‘21’, VH1’s ‘The Sex Revolution’ and TV adverts for NBA and ‘Romeo
& Juliet’, amongst others.
The band are playing eight festivals
this summer, including the Radio 1 stages at Reading, Leeds and
Bestival, and they are second from the headline slot at the Isle Of
Wight festival. Available on CD single and 7” vinyl (both formats
