Oooohh e listening to the glorious mess that is The Hospitals 'Hairdryer Peace' self released LP. This is lo-fidelity gutter rock and psyche fun that sounds like it was recorded under water. Fans of Chrome , Times New Viking, Harry Pussy, Siltbreeze Bands, fucked up Sonic Youth stuff, Sunburned Hand Of The Man etc will dig this although the record is not really like any of them as it constantly changes direction from sludgy bits to mid tempo to full on rock. It's all covered in a lovely gloopy, sticky treacle with songs trying to break out of the dissonance. Very cool.
