No one here wanted to review Ratatat so I bagsied it. I'll do anything me... am always prepared to give anything a go. 'Shiller' is the new single  from their forthcoming album on XL. No idea why XL are ploughing money into this band..... smells like a taxloss to me. I'd rather watch Flappy the death kangaroo bounding around in front of me destroying everything I've worked so hard for in my life than have to listen to these Brian May fuelled histrionics again. RataTAT indeed.

Apart from their recent remix of Bjork’s ‘Wanderlust’ single this is the first original studio recording to be released by Ratatat since their second album ‘Classics’ came out in August 2006. ‘Shiller’ is the product of a recording session at a secluded residential studio in upstate New York.    Since the release of ‘Classics’ the band have toured relentlessly, headlining shows in Japan, Hawaii and Estonia. The band were also asked to open for Daft Punk in Los Angeles.
