Efterklang: Caravan (Leaf) Described by our departing man at helm ( blasts and whirling choruses, all served up with a dramatic as-you-like arrangement; that has drums almost marching. Not so much miserable as maybe aching and clawing. Hand numbered in an edition of 1000. he's only here half days weds.) as the Danish Radiohead. This is a little perplexing, as I don't hear any trademark whining. All I hear is a type of call-and-response style male/female vocal tradeoff. Orchestral brass

Efterklang, currently in the midst of a lengthy European tour, will release ’Caravan’ as a strictly limited edition 7" single (just 1,000 hand-numbered copies) to coincide with their upcoming UK dates. There will also be a digital-only EP
available, featuring two otherwise unavailable remixes.
’Caravan’ is taken from the acclaimed album Parades (a top 25 album of the year in Mojo magazine) which was released last October. The band have completely transformed their live act in a few short months, winning over
thousands of new fans, and recently won two Danish Music Awards.
A video clip for ’Caravan’, directed by acclaimed Danish feature film director Anders Morgenthaler, will be released very soon (you can watch it here now: http://www.efterklang.net/vids/Efterklang_Caravan_35mb.mov). After the success of the ’Mirador’ video (now with almost 900,000 Youtube plays) all eyes will be on this one...
The B-side to the 7", ’The Romance On Mammoth Hill’ (exclusive to this release), is a brooding track recorded during the Parades sessions that the band was unable to squeeze into the final album sequence.
