Iliketrains- We Go Hunting 7"

Q. What is it?
A. It's a 7" record you plum

Q. What does it sound like?
A. A bit gothy really? Well a lot gothy really. In fact it's one of the darkest things I've heard in ages..Think Angels of Light Vocals (the earlier stuff) mixed in with Godspeed esque post rock. Then cover it in thick black wax, put a black wick in it and try to light it by summoning satan.

Q. Is it any good?
A. I don't think it's their strongest single but they have their own sound and I can quite happily sit and listen to it.

Q. Will it help me pull women?
A. If their surname is Munster then you have a chance.

What their label says...

New single ‘We Go Hunting’ is an enormous charge of a song, its pace and immediacy powerfully conveying the chaos and paranoid hysteria experienced by the victims of the Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts, where nineteen witches were accused, tried and hanged at the hands of Samuel Parris and the church in 1692. Once again, cult band from Leeds iLiKETRAiNS have brought back an historical tragedy through their inimitable, dramatic sound and style.
‘We Go Hunting’ has been a live favourite over the course of their busy year and, as were the Trials, it is short, sharp and brutal. With typical iLiKETRAiNS attention to detail, it was recorded in an old chapel and was mixed by Ken Thomas, who also works with Sigur Ros.
Though history may seem an unlikely ‘rock’ topic, iLiKETRAiNS succeed in bringing the past into present via incredible, rousing tales of courage and failure set against beautiful, often monstrous musical pieces.
The Leeds band will also simultaneously release a full-length animated film of their debut album ‘Elegies To Lessons Learnt’. They support these releases with their third tour of Europe and a tour of small venues in the UK.
