Crystal Castles: Courtship Dating (Different) I cannot help thinking we've been had with this lot. They look and sound like an archetypal 'Fashion' band. Not only that, the girl that fronts this duo is supposed to be so hot, all the lads that go to their shows to oggle her. The music is like a squat punk's version of electro-disco with noisy vocals. Some folks say their sound is a little 'eight-bit' or 'gameboy' even. Mainly they mean lo-fi and cobbled together. It's not really a smasher for me but I can understand the appeal: inclusive electronic music dressed down and presented with a beautiful face. Let's see what they're up to this time next year ehh?
