Limited edition (300) vinyl-only release of an album by the prolific UK surrealistic soundsmith, Andrew Liles, which was originally due to appear on USA’s Beta-Lactam Ring Records in 2005 but, for reasons best kept to themselves, got dropped. Since then, Andrew has become more involved with Nurse With Wound, released more records (including collaborations with Current 93 and Tony Wakeford of Sol Invictus, amongst many others), and more recently joined Current 93 for their Spring 2008 tour of early album Dogs Blood Rising.
Auto Manipulator is itself a concept album built around 15 pieces dedicated to the notion of a machine that can cater for all pleasures. The music is haunting, brooding and vaguely suggestive of all the best dreams going incredibly wrong.  Textures, tones and voices trailing from lost porn films greet each other to create a soundtrack at once disturbing and mesmerising.
