"Murder Ballads" is the ninth studio album produced by Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. Containing a remarkable and varied collection of songs that could loosely be described as 'murder ballads'.On "Murder Ballads" Cave wanted to take risks, experiment and collaborate with other singers and musicians, augmenting the traditional Bad Seeds line-up. Among the guests who accepted Cave's invitation was Australian chanteuse Kylie Minogue who duets with the singer on his haunting and beautiful composition "Where The Wild Roses Grow" Cave also duets with acclaimed singer PJ Harvey on the traditional folk tale 'Henry Lee'. The album closes with a committed performance of Bob Dylan's unjustly neglected classic "Death Is Not The End", boasting verses sung by Shane MacGowan, Anita Lane, Kylie Minogue, PJ Harvey, Blixa Bargeld and the vocal debut of Thomas Wydler.
