We sold quite a few of the Johnny Foreigner album and it completely passed me by. The name kind of put me off a bit but listening to 'Our Bipolar Friends' I must say that the old "never judge a book by its cover" cliche applies here. This is essentially boy/girl indie rock that reminds us of Dinosaur Jnr and Sonic Youth at times. Ltd 7" on Best Before Records.

What their label says...

“Boy-girl-boy yelpy vocals, busted up charity shop kids keyboards and Sonic Youth steam-train guitars. Five out of five? How about Six?”  -
In 2008 Johnny Foreigner are set to show the world what all the fuss in the underground press has been about. ‘Our Bipolar Friends’, the first track to surface from December’s high profile recording sessions in New York marries tender yet manic vocals with frantic guitar lines to produce an incendiary call to arms that will become one of the guitar anthems of 2008.
