Sweden’s greatest rock n’ roll export The Hives release the second single to be taken from The Black And White Album on Feb 25th. The single is a roll call of some of the most exciting names in music…We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S.) is produced by Pharrell Williams and is backed by remixes from Mattt (Matt Helders from The Arctic Monkeys), The Electrically Charged Boy (Russell from Editors) whilst Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) remixes the last single Tick Tick Boom. The single will be released as a limited edition 10” vinyl and a digital bundle.



Since news of the new single and remixes were announced late last year the band have commanded acres of Online Press coverage growing the band’s mailing list by 50% and pushing their total number of My Space friends to well over the 100K mark. The band allowed fans to remix the cover art for the new single and were inundated with potential sleeve designs from budding would be graphic designers. The winner’s entry will adorn the 10” sleeve and accompany the digital release.
