Band name of the week goes to Ox, Eagle, Lion, Man with their debut 7" on Transgressive.'Fatherhood / Motherhood' is a 2 track 7" by a band who are really quite odd sounding. Very early 80's new wave sounding with some leanings towards prog. There's some big scary guitars in it which I wasn't as keen on but it has it's moments and for it's general oddness I'd be prepared to give it thumbs up. It's a truly odd record indeed which I found difficult to sum up in the limited time god gave me. The B side is way better than the A side... the singer sounds like he's doing a John Major impression.
