Another dead dude I can't get enough of (living people are so passe...) is Moondog. Amazingly he is/was blind and dead at the same time and this is an important thing to mention whenever you review Moondog as blind people obviously can't make good music. So when one does then they should be congratulated. Maybe give them a sweet or something. The amazing thing about Moondogs music isn't the fact that he was blind, but the fact he made amazing music that was (buzz) light years ahead of anyone else. Snaketime Series is another Moondog reissue and it features the bearded blind maverick on top form with his usual percussive madness. 16 tracks of experimental percussive meanderings from a blind man. Amazing.

What their label says...
Utterly essential recordings from 1956, quickly re-released at the time by Prestige as 'Moondog', now repressed in its original sleeve. Beautiful!
