Taken from their latest Top 5 album Beyond The Neighbourhood, Tokyo is the brand new single from South East London's finest, Athlete.
A firm live favourite, Tokyo was first introduced at the band's sold out 3 night run at London Koko in July and has since been the opening song at every night of the band's recent sell out October UK tour.
Following on from the Top 10 airplay success of the last single Hurricane, Tokyo has also been playlisted across the board at Radio 2, Capital, XFM, 6Music, Virgin and Kerrang. Major radio and TV promo has also been scheduled below and more tour dates from the band are planned by the end of the year.
The single is available as a 7" vinyl (including new B-side Accidents Happen) and as a limited edition 'Live at Koko EP' CD which features live versions of Tokyo, Half Light, Vehicles and Animals and the classic Wires.
