Jim Noir has a new 7" out on My Dad Records. His first new material since his last material... yup you get a lot of information on this site. 'All Right' sounds like a more bouncy indified Air with some weird vocoder vocals kicking in and a bouncy High Llamas/ Stereolab vibe. It's still rooted in 60's pop and there's a slight psych feel to it with it's phenomenal bassline. I wasn't expecting to like this but it's actually pretty good. Am pleasantly surprised that he's got more songs in him... 4 tracks for your money 'n all.

OVERVIEW: Blooming eck, Jim Noir returns with a new EP. Featuring his first brand new material in over a year, the four track 7" ALL RIGHT EP is limited to 1000 copies and is released by My Dad Recordings on 12th November 2007.  Already garnering early support on Radio 2, XFM and 6Music – 6 weeks up front – the tracks on the EP offer four resounding reasons why Jim Noir is so important in todays musical environment. Taking his harmony drenched ouvre on a journey into the outer reaches of the leftfield pop mind, the EP is influenced equally by the Boards Of Canada and the Beatles – it sounds like drug fuelled psychedelia at its finest.  Joining his latter day heroes Super Furry Animals on their UK tour over the coming weeks, Jim has assembled a crack new band to play these songs and those from his soon to come second album (due in Spring 08) across the nation.
