LoneLady:'Early The Haste Comes' (Too Pure) Singles club offering that's one girl with her chiming guitar histronics, minimal drum thud. She sounds very, very similar to Sky Larkin's Katie. The vocals are very Kirsten Hersh, the music very spiky, angular and sort of post-punk funk with a dash of Throwing Muses or maybe early Sugarcubes.Ltd to 500 on white vinyl. If you like Sky Larkin's 'Keepsakes' then...

What their label says...

Recording on a 4-track deep within a Manchester tower block, LoneLady relies on aggression, space and that which agogs. Essential drums drive under the Telecaster post-punk guitar, a bittersweet clash with her merciless vocal edge.
