Dave Cloud & The Gospel Of Power are next on the turntable... 'You Don't Need Sex' is the title of the 7". I bet his kicking himself that there isn't a sticker on the sleeve saying virgin vinyl... This chugs along nicely and reminds us of Iggy and the Stooges. 70's sounding heavy garage/ blues rock with a sleazy dirty groove, cool production and actually quite rockin. 'Lavender Clothes' on the flipside is similar filth with the same aesthetic. The whole thing reeks of authenticity. Definitely the real deal. Apparently he's been doing this for 25 years.. Rock on...Ltd 7" on Fire Records.
